If a part of your dream for a new home is to be able to walk to things - shopping, libraries, parks, etc., then you need to measure the “walkability” of potential new locations. There is a Web site to help you do just that - Walkscore.com. Go there and put in the address of any location that you are considering and you will get back a walkability score. Compare that to where you live now or compare score of places that you are considering. The score for the Village of Milford is 80 out of 100, which makes Milford a very walkable place to live.
